“When the gods grumble, LISTEN!!”

For as long as there have been people in Connecticut,

the gods of Machimoodus have been talking.

Sort of.

When Whites arrived in the region, they too “heard the gods speaking.”

For the past 300 years, there have been – and continue to be –

mysterious rumblings in what is now East Haddam and Moodus, Connecticut.

The sounds ‘sound’ like distant thunder or gunshots.

Scientists attribute the sounds to shallow micro-earthquakes—tiny, localized shifts along small rock fractures close enough to the surface for the sound waves to be heard clearly.”
Well, now you’ve ‘heard’ it here.
