The Power of Perspective

PowerOne of the easiest things to say is “I’m smart.” This implies thinking is not necessary to be successful. This is particularly true of rich people. Everyone knows it takes brains to make money but it does not follow that because you have money you are smart. What makes someone successful is not so much smarts as a change of perspective. Anyone could have come up with the pet rock, liquid paper, sticky notes, snuggies or any of the products you see advertised on TV – “Wait! There’s more! If you order within ten minutes, we’ll double your order at no cost!!” Being smart is more than brains. It means changing your perspective, to see what others do not. Anyone can dream; but few can change their perspective to come up with a new, different product never before seen on the market!
