Everyone loves a Fourth of July Parade!

One of the nice things about historic photographs is they offer you a ‘snapshot’ of the era.

Note the sign on float.  In 1920, a “sanitorium’ was an institution for the mentally ill, hopeless alcoholic and a hospice. It is hard to believe you would see a ‘sanitorium’ as a parade float today.
