This is a photograph of a bank run in 1929. These people are scared their bank will go broke and all of their money evaporate. We have had more a few “fiscal scares” since then. With a new business-oriented President and Congress we should make sure we do not repeat the mistakes of the past. A sound economy depends on a sound banking system.
