In 1856, he invented the pantelegraph.
In the ‘old days’ of communication, it was called a FAX.
Caselli used synchronized swinging pendulums at both ends
of telegraph wires, which were stimulated by electronic pulses
sent station to station.

was widely used in France and Russia in 1865
