OK, history buffs, tell me.  What are the cones on top of the heads of these women? Actually, we now know. Egyptians would shave their heads and wear wigs.  At gatherings, women – and presumably men – would sack cones on their pates. The cones were composed of a mixture of wax and scented oil.  As the cones melted, the liquid flowed down onto the body as a deodorant. We only know about 1% of the 4,000 years of Egyptian civilization but what do know for sure – from illustration like this – we’re doing the same things today they did 4,000 years ago.  A 1,000 years from now we will still be concerned about body odor.  History is not the story of the past; it is the study of the future. www.authormasterminds.com/steve-levi
